Welcome to the Equine Explorations Corner, a subscription program for Equus Coaches who want to continue the conversation around horses.

We have designed a year’s worth of content, led by Kasia and the other instructors each month.

(Note: all calls will be recorded in case you can’t make it to the live class.)

Equine Explorations Corner

 

 

January – HORSING AROUND – The joys and challenges of horses. We will be sharing personal situations with horses, both the challenges and the good stuff, and engaging in a general Q&A about horses.

February – RELATIONSHIPS WITH HORSES LAB – Deepening our learning about the behavior and the nature of horses. We invite you to submit videos of your interactions with horses to allow for discussion and learning.

March – TOOL SHED – We will go over specific pieces from the Center’s horse curriculum, giving you a chance to discuss it. We will review videos and additional educational materials about the specific parts: halter, round pen, leading, approaching (advance and retreat), herd dynamics, body language and communication among horses.

  April – EQUUS LIBRARY – Recommending/discussing a good book, video or interesting research on horses.

May – BEING HEARD IN THE HERD – We’ll talk about coaching with and around horses. Have a specific situation that needs coaching around an issue with horses or people where you weren’t sure what to do? Bring these to this class.

June – RELATIONSHIPS WITH HORSES LAB –  Deepening our learning about the behavior and the nature of horses. We invite you to submit videos of your interactions with horses to allow for discussion and learning.

July – TOOL SHED – We will go over specific pieces from the Center’s horse curriculum, giving you a chance to discuss it. August – HORSE WORLD EXCURSIONS – We will discuss a trainer, training method, and/or equipment – the pros and cons to educate you about what’s out there in the horse world.

September – HORSE CARE- Basic care for unique beings discussion. This class is specifically dedicated to those who own horses or get to care for them on a regular basis, emphasizing horses’ special features and unique needs for their well-being.

October – RELATIONSHIPS WITH HORSES LAB – Deepening our learning about the behavior and the nature of horses. We invite you to submit videos of your interactions with horses to allow for discussion and learning.

November – TOOL SHED –  We will go over specific pieces from the Center’s horse curriculum, giving you a chance to discuss it.
