Advanced Certification in Team Coaching

• Twenty-two live 90-minute, small-group video conferencing classes led by our experienced instructors. (33 contact hours)
• A comprehensive curriculum designed to help you gain the theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience to work with groups, both in personal development contexts, such as running retreats, as well as with intact teams, such as corporate teams.
• Sixty total hours of Team Coaching education (60 contact hours)
• Five hours of coaching supervision with your instructors with feedback on your group coaching skills, designed to help you integrate your learning and demonstrate the ICF Team Coaching Competencies (5 contact hours)
• Instructors will attend, virtually, one 4-hour session of your choice to demonstrate your group coaching skills and the ICF Team Coaching Competencies and will provide feedback and support
• Additional training materials delivered via homework assignments, reading, partnering with co-facilitators, and prerecorded classes (23 contact hours)
• You will have the optional opportunity to audit 2 of our Equus Coaching on-sites in Scottsdale, AZ on October 30-November 2, 2025 and March 12-15, 2026. These on-sites will give you an opportunity to see live retreats in action as well as an opportunity to be outside in nature with horses! What could be better? There will be an extra fee of $1,600 per 4-day onsite to audit. The onsites will not provide any contact hours toward your Advanced Certification in Team Coaching (zero contact hours)
• 3-month and 6-month payment plans available to help make this investment in your personal and professional development more manageable

*While the Center for Equus Coaching is currently ICF-accredited as a Level 2 provider for both our Equus Coach Training and our Equus Master Facilitator Training, we are not currently accredited for the Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching. We are working with the ICF to gain our Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching beginning with this training. We fully anticipate we will have our Advanced Accreditation in Team Coaching reviewed and approved by the ICF at the end of 2026.

What does this mean for you? Anyone who enrolls in our Advanced Certification in Team Coaching 2025 program, or any subsequent training, will have the 60 hours of team coach education and 5 hours of coaching supervision needed to apply for certification once the program has been accredited. (Please note, you must also be an ICF credential-holder in good standing, complete 5 team coaching engagements over the last 5 years, and receive a passing score on the ICF Team Coaching Certification Exam.)

The ICF requires at least 60 hours of team coaching education, which is provided by this program and 5 hours of coaching supervision, which is provided by this program. 

The ICF also requires that candidates be an ICF credential-holder in good standing, complete 5 team coaching engagements over the last 5 years, and receive a passing score on the ICF Team Coaching Certification Exam. These are outside the scope of this program and candidates must complete these items on their own.

Candidates during the course of this program will be asked to complete one 1-hour group coaching engagement in class and will receive feedback from instructors. Candidates will also need to complete one 4+-hour group coaching engagement with an intact team that the candidate finds on their own. Instructors will virtually attend to support and provide feedback on that engagement.

To Enroll in Our Advanced Certification in Team Coaching

Choose your payment plan option or pay in full then, check your inbox for a confirmation email that will include class information plus a link to a brief questionnaire that helps our instructors get to know you better. That’s it! No other preparation is required. Just come as you are, where you are.

Your payment options include:

• Pay-in-Full: $3,500 upon registering for Advanced Certification in Team Coaching, we will apply your early bird discount where applicable.

• 3-pay Payment Plan: Make three (3) equal payments of $1,167 each over 3 months. The first payment of $1,167 is due upon registering for Advanced Certification in Team Coaching, with two (2) additional payments of $1,167 paid over the next 2 months. Adjustments will be made to your monthly amount to apply any early bird discount where applicable.

• 6-pay Payment Plan: Make six (6) equal payments of $584 each over 6 months. The first payment of $584 is due upon registering for Advanced Certification in Team Coaching, with five (5) additional payments of $584 paid over the next 5 months. Adjustments will be made to your monthly amount to apply any early bird discount where applicable.

For cancellations made 60 days prior to the published start date of our Advanced Certification in Team Coaching, the Center for Equus Coaching will offer a full refund.

For cancellations made between 59 to 31 days from the start of your program, we offer a 50% refund.

For cancellations made 30 days prior to the program start date, no refunds will be offered.

Please note that any payments made that are non-refundable can be applied to a future Advanced Certification in Team Coaching or ECC program, to be used within one year.
