Listen, Reflect, Transform at Soul Camp

Are you at a threshold moment and ready to step into what’s next? Have you been feeling a quiet pull to listen to your inner wisdom? Do you need a place to pause, breathe, and remember who you are beneath the noise?

Soul Camp is that place.

Since 2018, people have listened to their soul and come to San Diego for a deeply nourishing retreat—a space designed for listening to the soul, laughter, healing, and envisioning. Some arrive feeling stuck; others are ready to leap but unsure how. Some hold a dream that has been brewing for days, months, or years. I am grateful that, along with co-facilitators Erin Cutshall and Wendy Kranz, we’ve created something rare: a retreat that combines depth and play, presence and possibility, peace and planning.

Transformation at Soul Camp comes in many forms—sometimes subtle, sometimes sweeping. A few years ago, one of our “campers” felt trapped in a job and a relationship that had quietly outlived its purpose. Like many in this place, she feared change would require upending her life and starting from scratch. But Soul Camp offered another way: a slower, gentler unfolding. Through guided coaching, soulful conversations, and the honest reflection offered by a few wise horses, she began to hear the quiet wisdom of her heart. With support from our facilitators and fellow campers, she mapped a new path forward.

Back home, she had brave, vulnerable conversations with her boss and her partner. Over the next year, she planned—deliberately and with care—a cross-country move to create a life that truly reflected who she had become. Yes, there was grief and letting go. But it unfolded with intention, clarity, and grace.

“I didn’t need to blow up my life,” she shared. “I just needed to listen—and trust myself enough to take one honest, intentional step at a time.”

I’ve spent over three decades walking alongside individuals, families, leaders, and teams—helping them find clarity, courage, and alignment. And yet, every single Soul Camp renews something inside me, too. It reminds me that healing happens in relationship—with self, others, nature, and the unseen. It reminds me of the power of quiet reflection… and of belly laughs around the dinner table.  If your soul has been whispering, nudging, or even shouting—it may be time for Soul Camp!

So, ask yourself:  “What is it you plan to do with your one wild and precious life?” This final line is from Mary Oliver’s poem, “The Summer Day.”  It encourages us to imagine who we want to be, where we want to go, and what we’d like to do.  If not now, when?

Whether you’re at a personal crossroads or simply craving reconnection with your true self, Soul Camp offers you tools, guidance, community—and the wisdom of horses—to help you rediscover clarity and joy. Please join us! 🐴

Soul Camp reminded me how to trust myself again. The horses reflected my truth more clearly than I’d ever seen it.

Space is intentionally limited to preserve intimacy and quality. You’ll leave with clarity—not just inspiration—plus a community, a plan, and embodied momentum for what comes next.
