The transformational power of Equus Coaching is not easy to explain – it is beyond words. However, witnessing it firsthand is often a life-changing experience. Having the opportunity to observe, or even volunteer for, a session led by a Master Facilitator and an equine co-facilitator offers a rare, unforgettable look at the power of this work.   

Equus Demo Days are a unique, hands-on invitation to discover what horses can teach us about ourselves and our relationships. We’d love for you to join us and see the shifts happen in real-time!

Demos are open to the public and led by experienced professionals who have completed at least 2 years of intensive training. These coaches first earn the Certified Equus Coach® credential to work with individuals, couples, and families, then complete a second year to become an Equus Certified Master Facilitator. This additional year offers in-depth training and mentorship in recognizing common patterns that emerge in relationships among group and team members, as well as skills in overseeing group processes and guiding leadership and team development. 

What to Expect: A Demo Day is NOT a full-day commitment; it’s a focused 2- to 3-hour gathering that gives you a front-row seat to personal transformation. During the event, you will:

• Discover “Why Horses” have a unique way of assisting as co-facilitators in on-the-ground coaching activities in the pasture, round pen, and arena.
• Witness the Connection: Watch an Equus Master Facilitator (ECMF) conduct a short, live, real-time session with a volunteer from the audience, illustrating how horses can sense and sometimes mirror our internal states and communication styles.
• Explore Practical Applications: Learn how equine interactions can help to create shifts in perspective, personal growth, team cohesion, and leadership skills.
• Engage in Q&A: Get clarity on the difference between coaching vs therapy and discover what a full retreat, workshop or private session could look like for you or your team.
• Meet Your Local Equus Coaches: Connect with Master Facilitators, Equus Coaches,® and coaches-in-training (who may offer low or no-fee introductory sessions to support their internship hours).
